Philamentos Pilot — Privacy Policy
Effective August 2026 · Pilot program
1. Who we are
Philamentos operates a pilot service connecting customers with local 3D-printer operators for local pickup. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. Questions: contact the operator at the email on your order confirmation.
2. What we collect
- Account & contact: your email address, and (if you sign in) your name and account id from our login provider.
- Orders: the designs, colors, sizes, quantities, city, order status, pickup interactions, and 1-tap ratings you submit.
- Custom uploads: any 3D model files you upload, stored to fulfill your order.
- Payments: processed by Stripe. We receive a payment reference and status — we never see or store your full card details.
- Printers: if you apply to print, your city, equipment, colors, chosen public pickup address, and payout handle.
- Technical: standard log and device data from our hosting provider.
3. How we use it
To create and fulfill orders, match you with a printer, process payment and payouts, send order and pickup notifications, prevent abuse, and improve the pilot. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Who we share it with
- The assigned printer receives what they need to fulfill your order, including any custom file you upload — solely to print your order.
- Service providers that run the platform: hosting/database, payments (Stripe), login, and email delivery. They process data on our behalf.
- Legal — where required by law.
Note: printer pickup addresses are public by design and shown to buyers before ordering.
5. Retention
We keep order and account records for as long as needed to run the pilot and meet legal or accounting obligations, then delete or anonymize them. You can ask us to delete your data (subject to records we must keep).
6. Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can unsubscribe from non-essential emails. Contact the operator to make a request.
7. Security
We use reputable providers and take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no online service is perfectly secure. This is a pilot provided as-is.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as the pilot evolves; material changes will be reflected here.
